Well, they did it somehow. Marvel has created a universe in which I like Hank Pym, AND Janet, at the same time. The new Avengers cartoon has been awesome so far, I dig the style and can’t wait for more characters to turn up. Like Mockingbird. Who is in it. Best series ever.
Anyway, so apparently thinking about how I like the Wasp’s design in this led to a weird mishmash of styles. I don’t even know.:D Yay EMH Janet (and Hank) fans!
Jan is so consistently awesome in this series that I don’t even know how to react when I watch it. She plays such a major role in the action scenes that I feel spoiled. Kept expecting her personality to revert to “The Chick” trope the first couple of episodes, and when it never happened, Jan became my favorite character. And I’m not even afraid that she’ll start being used as the “damsel in distress” because it’s clear that the writers like and respect her character, and go out of their way to utilize her. I love this show. And Hank, too.
